STRIKE is a speculative artwork that blends video, AI avatars, and audience participation to critically address the dehumanizing effects of technological progress. By having AI avatars recite historical worker strike slogans, the installation highlights the irony of machines potentially "on strike" in a world increasingly dominated by automation. The physicality of blank cardboard placards invites spectators to contribute their own slogans, positioning them as both participants and observers, while the work critiques the commodification of labor and explores the evolving dynamics of collective resistance in an automated society.
